Some of us want it all. Some of us settle for less. Most of us need just enough to satisfy our needs. But all of us, since time immemorial, have searched and yearned for the most elusive of all human emotions…Love.

 

So, what’s it going to take for us, the LGBTQ+ community, with an ever-growing alphabet soup, to finally earn what we so desperately want and need. To live in peace and harmony with a world that is no more innocent and no less forgiving than us.

 

A world that preaches love, but falls short when it comes to us. A world with so many religious and/or secular denominations, that Christianity, one of the largest, with more than 45,000 denominations globally, continues to double down and insist that we are the problem that plagues humanity. The only viable options we are granted:

 

1. Resist, repent and accept the things we cannot change.

2. Repeat the seemingly eternal cycle of pursing the path of nonexistence.

3. Endure a life of anguish, despair, grief, and self-abnegation. 

4. Surrender to suicide as a last-ditch effort to find peace, and serenity.

 

We have been denied, we have been deprived of unconditional love for millennia.

 

Again, so what’s it going to take to reach a win-win solution to live in a world where we lead by example? Where our love goes beyond words and transforms us through action. Where we join all of humanity to preserve and perpetuate life as it was always meant to be - miraculous and awe inspiring.

 

In summary, for all of you who already get it, and to those of us that overthink and second-guess all of life’s lessons – join us – let us fearlessly wear our code Tags, symbols of a new covenant with GOD and humanity.

 

Enough of believing and trusting in histories endless progression of sanctimonious leaders, who are cynical, heartless, and deeply unforgiving of our “Agenda."
